Koolhaas Houselife

Most films about architecture romanticize the heroic and avant-garde aspects of a profession that seems increasingly disconnected from the day-to-day aspects of improving people's lives through good design. When we purchased a 100-year-old barn in 2017, we dreamed of adapting a historic structure for modern purposes, promoting good design and sustainable entrepreneurship, and enriching a growing community of artists, creators, and farmers. Our seven-year journey has been more rewarding than we could have imagined, but as much as we've enjoyed renovating the barn and nurturing new relationships, it's time to pass the torch. We could not be more proud of what we've done to revitalize this iconic building, and we hope to find a buyer who shares our passion for craft and community. We put together a summary to describe the love and care we poured into every detail of this transformational project. >>
